New Openings: Longchamp, New York
Plus a new ready to wear collection

Longchamp store Soho New York

Expanding beyond its signature bright-colored collapsible nylon handbags, Longchamp is adding ready-to-wear to its collection this fall. Coats, sweaters, and parkas will be sold in the new 9,830-square-foot, two-level store on Spring Street in Soho, New York.

Architect Thomas Heatherwick constructed the store’s space using hot-rolled steel, maple wood floors, exposed brick, and lots of natural light. The space took four years to complete and is well worth the wait as it showcases the chicness of Longchamp in an equally fashionable way. The line itself has the same indestructible yet delicate quality of the classic handbags, with nylon coats featuring many pockets and details similar to the bags.
